How would you explain the end point confidentiality to Hannah? Whilst it is Hannahs right to light upon ratiocinations for herself and choose non to want to pull in ones horns the medication, in this case from the entropy given it could be detrimental to her wellness and therefore I would explain to Hannah that the entropy given to me is in confidence. Although Hannah non taking her prescribed medication could put her at risk of victimize and therefore I would need to pass the information on to my music director to en reliable her wellbeing is being addressed. It is Hannahs choice who she manages information with and I would give her my assurance that the information would not be sh ard with her miss unless she consented to it. Ways to maintain confidentiality in day to day communication are to keep all patient details and any information relating to them should not be in view of anyone and kept safe at all times. You should always not discuss any information with anyone other than lawfully involved, this sometime includes a family member. When patient are in clinic you should make sure that curtains are closed, doors are locked and making sure there is privacy. You should always make sure you have permission to pass on any information to other colleagues, new carers etc. BivExplain when and how a social care thespian should get advice about confidentiality.It is very important as a healthcare worker that you understand when to seek advice about confidentiality. Confidentiality is essential in health care to improve trust and working relationships between the patients and their carers. Certain information is however shared amongst teams if it is needed to effectively support service users and others involved in their care. When there is a prospect of risk of danger or harm to the patient, staff ormembers of the public. Additionally if abuse is suspected inside the home or seen anywhere, or if there is a misconduct of a staff, it is the responsibility of the staff around to pass such information to their managers to care appropriate action. In most cases organisations have whistleblowing policies to protect staff after blowing the whistle and also to guide them on how to break confidentiality .
